昨天的月圆对塔斯牟尼亚的中国社团标志着一个重要的庆祝。

Yesterday's full moon marked an important celebration for Tasmania's Chinese community.

中秋节，或称月亮节，把家人和朋友连在一起分享非常受人喜爱的传统的月饼。

The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, brings families and friends together to share much-loved traditional moon cakes.

月饼外面有一层薄薄的酥皮，里面是用豆或莲子做成的浓郁和甜蜜的团。

The cakes have a thin pastry shell filled with a dense, sweet paste made from beans or lotus seeds.

通常月饼内含一只咸鸭蛋黄，以表示著月亮。

The cakes usually contain a salted duck-egg yolk that represents the moon.

传统来说，此精品是切成薄薄的楔形与茶一起共享。

The delicacies are traditionally cut into thin wedges and shared with tea.

Hobart的中国佛教社团昨天主持了一个节日的庆祝，以努力推广和谐和多元文化。

Hobart's Chinese Buddhist community hosted a festival celebration yesterday in an effort to promote multiculturalism and harmony.

社团领袖　王信得大师说月饼具有浓厚的象征意义。

Community leader Master Wang Xin-De said the moon cakes were strongly symbolic.

“此中国传统表示家庭和谐”　王大师通过翻译说。

"This Chinese traditional represents family harmony," Master Wand said through an interpreter.

“月饼本身和她的外形表示家庭的圆满团聚。”

"The moon cake itself and its shape represent the perfect union of the family."

这种和谐延伸至整个社团，祂说。

That harmony extended throughout the community, he said.

中秋节是在中国［阴］历的第八个月举行以庆祝中国的收获季节。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is held in the eighth month of the Chinese calendar to celebrate the end of the harvest in China.

王大师说把这传统〝移植〞至塔斯牟尼亚的目的是鼓励家庭和社团一起来［中秋节］。

Master Wang said the aim was to "transplant" the tradition in Tasmania to encourage families and communities to come together.

赵朴初先生生前曾多次强调，各地政府利用宗教道场发展旅游产业，应当首先尊重宗教，不能让宗教成为旅游产业的附庸，以宗教道场发展旅游，应当以宗教为主，旅游开发为辅。可是，现在许多地方将这个关系弄颠倒了。政府与寺庙之间关系，在进入现代社会之后，最理想的状态当然是政教分离，就目前中国的情况看，实质上涉及当前中国大陆的宗教政策问题。
