中国虎年昨天在Hobart以“砰”的一声来迎新。
The Chinese Year of the Tiger was welcomed in with a bang in Hobart yesterday.

色彩鲜艳的中国佛教社团以重击传统的大鼓来庆祝中国新年，并配与描述狮子的舞蹈员。
The colourful Chinese Buddhist community celebrated the Chinese New Year with the pounding of large traditional drums, accompanied by dancers portraying lions.

预期庆祝是会持续十五天，这是中国新年的传统。
The celebrations are expected to continue for another 15 days, as is the tradition for Chinese New Year.

金刚禅佛教鼓手和跳舞的狮子昨晚在Sandy Bay的Magnet Court表演，出席人仕其中有州长David Bartlett和绿党领袖Nick McKim等。
The Jin Gang Dhyana Buddhist drummers and dancing lions performed at Magnet Court in Sandy Bay last night, with Premier David Bartlett and Greens Leader Nick McKim among those in attendance.

鼓手和舞蹈员将会在未来两周在横跨整个州表演。
The drummers and dancers will perform throughout the state over the next two weeks.

金刚禅领袖　王信得大师说虎年会带来成就和发展。祂说去年，是牛年，是努力工作的一年，但今年“障碍将会超越”。
Jin Gang Dhyana leader Master Wang Xin-De said the Year of the Tiger would bring achievement and advancement. He said that last year, which was the Year of the Ox, was a period of hard work but this year "obstacles would be overcome".

“我们去年种下种子，但今年我们将会收到果实，”祂说。
"We planted the seeds last year but this year we will receive the fruits," he said.

中国新年是中国日历里最重要的庆祝。
Chinese New Year is the most important celebration in the Chinese calendar.

中国新年的传统，人们穿着红色的衣服、燃点爆竹、把“幸运钱”放进红色信封给孩子。
Traditionally at Chinese New Year people wear red clothes, set off firecrackers and give children "lucky money" in red envelopes.

王大师说节日是为了让人们可以“体验宇宙灵性能量的宇宙和平、宇宙和谐、宇宙智慧和宇宙大爱的共振。”
Master Wang said the festivities were so people could "experience the resonance of cosmic peace, cosmic harmony, cosmic wisdom and cosmic great love from cosmic spiritual energy".
