昨天的月圓對塔斯牟尼亞的中國社團標誌著一個重要的慶祝。

Yesterday's full moon marked an important celebration for Tasmania's Chinese community.  

中秋節，或稱月亮節，把家人和朋友連在一起分享非常受人喜愛的傳統的月餅。

The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, brings families and friends together to share much-loved traditional moon cakes.

月餅外面有一層薄薄的酥皮，裡面是用豆或蓮子做成的濃郁和甜蜜的糰。

The cakes have a thin pastry shell filled with a dense, sweet paste made from beans or lotus seeds.

通常月餅內含一隻鹹鴨蛋黃，以表示著月亮。

The cakes usually contain a salted duck-egg yolk that represents the moon.

傳統來說，此精品是切成薄薄的楔形與茶一起共享。

The delicacies are traditionally cut into thin wedges and shared with tea.

Hobart的中國佛教社團昨天主持了一個節日的慶祝，以努力推廣和諧和多元文化。

Hobart's Chinese Buddhist community hosted a festival celebration yesterday in an effort to promote multiculturalism and harmony.  

社團領袖　王信得大師說月餅具有濃厚的象徵意義。

Community leader Master Wang Xin-De said the moon cakes were strongly symbolic.

“此中國傳統表示家庭和諧”　王大師通過翻譯說。

"This Chinese traditional represents family harmony," Master Wand said through an interpreter.

“月餅本身和她的外形表示家庭的圓滿團聚。”

"The moon cake itself and its shape represent the perfect union of the family."

這種和諧延伸至整個社團，祂說。

That harmony extended throughout the community, he said.

中秋節是在中國［陰］曆的第八個月舉行以慶祝中國的收穫季節。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is held in the eighth month of the Chinese calendar to celebrate the end of the harvest in China.

王大師說把這傳統〝移植〞至塔斯牟尼亞的目的是鼓勵家庭和社團一起來［中秋節］。

Master Wang said the aim was to "transplant" the tradition in Tasmania to encourage families and communities to come together.

    趙朴初先生生前曾多次強調，各地政府利用宗教道場發展旅遊產業，應當首先尊重宗教，不能讓宗教成為旅遊產業的附庸，以宗教道場發展旅遊，應當以宗教為主，旅遊開發為輔。可是，現在許多地方將這個關係弄顛倒了。 政府與寺廟之間關係，在進入現代社會之後，最理想的狀態當然是政教分離，就目前中國的情況看，實質上涉及當前中國大陸的宗教政策問題。
