开幕圣典的致辞

王师尊，

和贵宾们：

Master Wang,

And Honourable Guests,

我把巴海教社团的问候、致敬以及美好的祝愿，带给我们的佛教朋友和在座的每一位。

I bring with me the greetings and respect and well wishes of the Baha’i community to our Buddhists friends and also to everyone who is present here.

巴海教社团承认和赞赏佛教社团在推广团结、多元化、多元文化、相互了解、和平之因所做的一切。

And the Baha’i community acknowledges and is appreciative of what the Buddhist community is doing in promoting the cause of unity and diversity and the cultural diversity and understanding and the cause of peace. 

这正是巴海教的哲学，而目前，在全世界，超过193个国家都是围绕着同一条线发展。

This is something that is very much philosophies of Baha’i. All over the world now in more than 193 countries evolves around the same line.

我们也确实认为，对国家和全人类［最具影响力］的是人民。而世界和平与平安，如果没有稳固地确立团结，是不会成立的。而如果没有很好地理解正义、平等的原则（此基础于教育和内心的改善），这个团结是无法达成的。

We also genuinely believe that […] countries and mankind is citizens.  And the peace and security of the world will not establish until unless unity is firmly established.  And this unity cannot be established until the principle of justice, equality is well understood which is based on education and based on change of heart.

而这个内心的转变，只有通过相互接触、相互学习和分享各个信仰之间的共同点，才会发生。

And this change of heart can only happen as a result of coming in contact with each other and learn from each other and sharing what is common between all faiths.

人们经常强调不同信仰之间的差异，但我觉得我们应该同样地重视和集中于共同之处。

There are a lot of emphasis on what is different between different the faiths. But I think what we should focus and concentrate is relevent focuing on differences we should focus and concentrate on what is common.

然后，我们就会看到，虽然这些种种的宗教、信仰和哲学存在于世界各地，但通过我们很仔细的思考，就会看到祂们虽然使用不同的语言，但祂们全部所提倡的都是一样的。

And we will see that although these diverse religions and faiths and philosophies exist around the world, but when we really think carefully we will see that they use different language but they all promote the same thing.
