Welcome to the start of Christmas.

歡迎大家來迎接聖誕節的開始。

Christmas that we have with Master Wang means a lot more than that, because it’s a public symbol of the culture and the diversity that Master Wang and his followers have bought to our city.

與　王師尊一起共渡聖誕，有著非凡的意義，因為，這是　王師尊和祂的信眾們為我們的城巿所帶來的文化和多元性的公眾象徵。

Our city is richer, kinder, and more enlightened as a result of what Master Wang and his followers have bought to our city.

由於　王師尊和祂的信眾們所帶給我們的城巿的種種，我們的城巿更為豐富、更為仁慈、更受啟迪。

Who would have thought ten years ago that we could have, in the middle of the Liverpool street, a ceremony like this, a ceremony that opens up the world to a special culture, a special warmth.

十年之前，有誰能想到我們可以在Liverpool街舉行這樣的儀規──如此為世人帶來特別的文化、特別的溫暖的儀規。

And what wonderful plans that this group has near Hobart for its long-lasting 200 year temple structure.

而這個組織於皞峇燈附近興建寺廟的長遠的二百年計劃，又是多麼的美好。

But today it’s about Christmas, it’s about ensuring that we have a parade that will make such a huge different to children, to adults and to everyone who is involved as volunteers.

但今天是慶祝聖誕，是確保我們舉行一個能夠為孩子們、成年人，以及所有參與的義工們，帶來巨大的改變的遊行。

Master Wang, thank you for this very special part of Christmas, we wish you and your followers the best and we look forward to many more

Christmases and the eye-dotting ceremony that we are about to have.
