Bob Randall is one of the Stolen Generation of the Aboriginal people, Yankunytjatjara Elder and Traditional Owner of Uluru, working as a teacher and leader for Aboriginal land rights, education, community development and cultural awareness.

We would like to invite the audience to follow the artists out of the Plenary Hall and into the foyer for a final ceremonial photo which will be presented as part of the Parliament’s commitment to the Environment at the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.

A message from the Creative Director

 

我希望值此機會感謝所有我們的，盡力為世界宗教國會開幕典禮、國際和墨爾本全體禮堂以及最後的今天的閉幕典禮工作的〝注入文化〞隊伍和多名義工。

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our Cultural Infusion team and the many volunteers who have worked tirelessly on the Parliament of the World’s Religions Opening Ceremony, International and Melbourne Plenaries and finally today’s Closing Ceremony.

 

多宗教藝和文化表演的上演，沒有不斷的，非一致同意而是集中之對話是沒有可能的。通過對話與認識，便可以達到不同宗教的相互了解。藝術和文化的宇宙語的結晶是對話。

The staging of an inter-religious arts and cultural presentation is not possible without engaging in ongoing dialogue based not on consensus but convergence.  It is through dialogue and knowledge that increased understanding of different faiths is acquired.  The universal language of arts and culture crystallises dialogue.

 

在會體禮堂的台上出現的每一位演出者都創造了按照每一晚的題目而特定設計的演出。

Each of the performers appearing on the stage of Plenary Hall have created specifically devised performances based around the themes of each night.

 

12月3日以後有超過100名演出者於201號房和全體禮堂出現。

Since the 3rd of December more than 1000 performers have appeared in Room 201 and Plenary Hall.

 

今天，我們再次看到沙藝術者Stephonos Eleftheriadis。他將會設計自然的圖象。

Today, we again have the re-appearance of Sand Artiste Stephonos Eleftheriadis who will devise spontaneous images.
