中國社團昇起紅色燈籠為在皞峇燈的農曆新年慶祝作最後的祝福

市政廳掛滿了超過1000盞燈籠，這是今年塔斯牟尼亞州中國商業協會和塔斯牟尼亞州中國藝術與傳播社會之間合作的最後一曲。
City Hall has been decked out with more than 1000 lanterns in a collaboration between the Tasmanian Chinese Business Association and the Tasmanian Chinese Art and Communication Society for this year’s swan song.

今晚在市政廳將會舉行一個免費的公眾活動，有中國傳統食品，以及與羊年配合的剪羊毛的展示 。
A free public event will be held at the hall tonight with traditional Chinese food and sheep shearing displays to coincide with the year of the ram.

本次活動還將舞獅、功夫表演、甚至中國的搖滾樂隊“Xiang翔”電台。
The event will also feature lion dancing, kung fu displays and even Chinese rock band Xiang Radio.

TCBA（塔斯牟尼亞州中國商業協會）代表Jason許說，此家庭活動是結束皞峇燈的農曆新年慶祝活動的完美方式。
TCBA representative Jason Xu says the family event is the perfect way to end Hobart’s Lunar New Year celebrations.

“（在中國）的中國元宵節傳統是讓人們團聚，一家人聚首一堂。”徐先生說。 “我們鼓勵每個家庭把孩子帶來，一起慶祝。”
 “[The] Chinese lantern festival is traditionally [for] people to get together and have family time.” Mr Xu said. “We encourage every family to bring the kids and celebrate.”

紅色對中國文化來說是重要的，代表人們的夢想和希望，而燈籠，當點亮時，（為人們）帶來好運。
While red is significant in Chinese culture, representing the dreams and wishes of the people, the lanterns, when lit, bring good luck.
